A thunder storm on Friday night made the Chester track slightly damp for first practice, we ran well on wet tyres on first practice. Qualifying was a different story we had major problems as the engine kept cutting out while on the chicanes and over the rumble strips, it was very frustrating but had to make the most of it. We found out after the Qualifying session that we had a sheered connector on the battery which we corrected for the 2 races.
It was going to be a difficult day for M-Sport Racing as we were starting well down the field because of our battery problem, I made 2 fantastic starts in both races and had some good battles carving through the field, I managed to get a 6th and a 7th place for the 2 races so not all was lost, we are now looking forward to Snetterton on the 14th-15th May. Hopefully I will see you there.
